Shipping Policy

Our fulfilment team keeps a close eye on weather conditions across Australia to help ensure your chocolates are delivered in perfect condition, even during warmer months.

If temperatures become excessively high, dispatch of your order may be temporarily delayed until conditions improve. Should this occur, we’ll let you know by email once your parcel is ready to be sent.

As soon as your order leaves our warehouse, you’ll receive a dispatch confirmation from Australia Post, including tracking details so you can follow its progress.

If you experience any issues with your order, please submit an enquiry via our contact form and include any relevant details and photos where applicable. Our Customer Care team aims to be in touch ASAP to assist.

Shipping Policy

Click & Collect / International Shipping

At this time, Click & Collect is not available and we do not offer international shipping. All orders are delivered within Australia only.


Shipping Fees

For all other locations, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight in line with Australia Post rates. 


Delivery Method

To minimise the risk of melted chocolate, we offer Express Shipping only. This ensures your order spends as little time in transit as possible, helping your chocolate arrive in perfect condition and ready to enjoy.


Dispatch Timeframes

Orders are dispatched on business days only (Monday to Friday), excluding weekends and public holidays. As we are based in Victoria, we observe Victorian and Australian national public holidays.

All orders are packed and shipped Monday to Friday only. We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 3pm (AEST) on the same business day whenever possible.


Express Delivery Timeframes (Estimated)

We ship via Australia Post Express Post, offering the fastest domestic delivery option available. Delivery typically takes 1–3 business days nationwide, with many items sent within the Express Post network qualifying for a next-business-day guarantee. Orders generally arrive within 1–2+ business days locally and 1–3+ business days interstate, ensuring your chocolate reaches you as quickly as possible.


Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking number. You can track your delivery via the Australia Post “Track My Item” service here: https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/search


Delivery Areas & Restrictions

  • We deliver to Australian street addresses only.

  • PO Boxes are accepted.

  • Parcel Lockers are accepted; however, please note that due to potential collection delays, temperature exposure, and storage conditions beyond our control, we cannot accept responsibility for melted or damaged chocolate. Parcels delivered to Parcel Lockers will not be eligible for replacement.


Hot Weather Policy

We actively monitor weather conditions to ensure products arrive in optimal condition. During periods of extreme heat, we may delay dispatch to protect product quality. If this occurs, you will be notified by email.

We also may use ice packs in your order to for extra protection.

While we do our best to ensure your order is delivered on time, The Confectionery House cannot be held responsible unforeseen circumstances.


Authority to Leave & Contactless Delivery

Contactless delivery is available where applicable. Customers may nominate Authority to Leave at checkout. Once authority is given, delivery is made at the customer’s risk.


Incorrect Address & Re-delivery

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery details at checkout.

If re-delivery is required due to incorrect address details or no recipient being available, additional charges may apply, including 100% of shipping costs and up to 50% of the product value.
